Peter Marchut

 

Peter Marchut is a fourth-year Mechatronics Engineering student at Ontario Tech University. He is currently participating in a 16-month internship as a manufacturing engineer at BWXT Nuclear Canada. 

 

Prior to commencing his studies at Ontario Tech, he gained more than eight years of experience in the telecommunications industry. During this time, he honed his expertise in call-centre analytics, with a focus on employee performance, vendor management and revenue analysis, through his roles at Rogers Communications and other services providers. 

 

In addition to his professional and academic pursuits, Peter dedicates his time to youth development and community involvement through his role on the Technology Advisory Board at Kids Help Phone, where he applies his technical and analytical skills to support and guide technological advancements for the organization. 

 

He also coaches youth baseball in Clarington, Ontario, instilling teamwork, discipline, and a love for the sport in young athletes.
